ratmammy, great list! I teach a literature course at a community college and we've done "Never Let Me Go," "Saturday," "Cider House Rules," and a couple of otehrs. They were great books!

I've read about 1/3 of your picks, and just wanted to say you've got some great reading ahead of you. Specifically: Never Let Me Go, Middlesex, The Reader, Stone Diaries, Home at the End of the World and Cider House Rules are all high on my list of books to re-read.

Marie I love the idea of this challenge.I'm going to read some of the same books on your list so we can compare notes.Cider House Rules is a great book.A Prayer for Owen Meany also by Irving is one of my all time favorite books!
